Academic Life
Penn State's academic standards are challenging yet wonderful. I have never been pushed and challenged so hard in my entire school career, and the results are amazing! I have learned extensive and helpful study tools through both my general education classes and my music classes. I feel as though I am learning more now than ever before. So far, I have taken Music Theory, Sight Singing, English 15, Psych 100, Math 17, my Freshman Music Seminar, and several ensembles. Though college is hard at times, I have learned the necessary time management and study skills necessary to rid of the pressure and make the most of my college experience. Attached below are several sample assignments that I completed as a part of my Freshman Music Seminar. In this seminar, I was helped to look deeper into why I am the musician I am today and what aided me in getting to this point.
